Quotation: Fixed price (this is what you pay). We can only quote if we know the subject matter or products etc, the special characteristics of the location and know exactly what is required - and as long as there is no deviation from the originally stated nature of the job. Valid for 30 days from the date of the quotation.

Estimate: An estimate of the cost based on our perception of what the job will entail derived from information provided by the client. Unexpected factors arising in the course of the job which may be influential to the time taken or other special unforeseen circumstances may impact on the final price. If this is liable to occur, we will confer with the client. Valid for 30 days from the date of the estimate.

Hourly Rate: The client pays a fixed hourly rate based upon the time taken to complete the job.

General photography: $120 per hour
Post-processing/editing: $120 per hour (most jobs will usually require some post-production work).

POSSIBLE EXTRA COSTS:

Travelling time: 95 cents per km
Special Props/Materials: At cost
Delivery: At cost
Styling and setup

Urgent Work
Most work is delivered within the working week - if work is required at short notice or urgently, it may attract a surcharge.

PRODUCT IMAGES

Depending on the type of product and the quantity, we can offer a unit price. For example, for populating a webshop where a large number of initial product images are needed, we have solutions for supplying images on a white background from as little as $10 per image/product view - this may vary according to the desired lighting, angle etc, however, in some cases, this may even be less. The nature and specifics of the products, for example whether the surfaces are reflective, whether the products have complex soft or textured edges and the physical size of the product etc, will determine the final unit price.

Final images are generally uploaded to our server for clients to download, may be supplied on disk or in some cases, may be emailed depending on file sizes.

When images will also be used in print, generally these require 'clearcutting' (removing the background). This enables images to be placed on a white, black, coloured orr photo background. Depending on the nature of the product and the quantity, the required post processing adds to the cost, however these usually range from between $20 to $50 each.

Smaller custom runs of just a few products fall outside of these guidelines as setup time may have an impact on the cost in these cases. Group shots may also cost more to allow for additional time required for styling/arranging and setup in order to achieve a pleasing composition with all of the individual elements.
